Their stories
"To get to know each other's life story, you have to sit down and talk. But in order to fully understand the story, you have to listen." — Ingrid Bremmers
One thousand, four hundred and sixty-five minutes. Twenty-four hours. That is the amount of time we spend on talking to the villagers of Kaibobo. A time in which we laughed together. A time in which we sat on the edge of our seats listening to their beautiful life stories. And now it is your turn to step into their shoes by clicking on any of the thirteen photos below. And to just like us, learn more about what life is all about according to them. Take for example the life lesson given by Mecky Pesireron: before you die, realize how you imagine it to be. That is the only way you will be at peace in your heart.
However, prior to indulging yourself into their stories, we want to let you know that we have also interviewed William Mattinahoruw and Roby Louhattapessy. The information gathered in their interviews can be respectively found under the pages 'history' and 'contact'. But for now, take your time to get to know them. And do not think about time as it being money. "Think about time as a blessing" (Jus Kakisina).
